Database backup is an important part of your work with the application.
Backup should be done regularly, daily if possible.
The procedure is very simple and quick.
The application will make a batch file (a separate one for each database) which backs up the
database when started.
Let's see now how it is done.
In the main menu select System/Options, and then the Backup tab.
Enter the folder which will contain the backup and click on Create batch file.
Example: If f:\archive is the folder in which the database fiposoft will be backed up, then the file fiposoft.bat will be created in that folder.
The database will be backed up by starting the file fiposoft.bat which creates the backup file - fiposoft.backup.
When the batch file is started, the program will ask you to type in your password!
